proof of concept
idk how milestones work, so I'll be using it to just label tickets as necessary for completion to consider the project in a proof of concept, that being it works, but is missing functionality/crashes/whatever, as long as it presyncs then launches the selected application, we'd accomplish enough to show everything can work in tandem.
from there we'll be able to better decide if the idea is actually worth fully pursuing.
