What are these?

these dotfiles are what i use on a regular basis! they're mainly just niri & noctalia settings, but i think they're fairly good to start with at the very least! some old things are kept more as a placeholder/preferred settings

How do I Install these?

i use chezmoi to manage these dotfiles on my machines, if you'd like to use chezmoi as well, you can look here for more information on how to use it. if you'd like to do it manually, all the folders in dot_config should just go right into your ~/.config folder and work fine, hopefully. eventually, i'd like to make a script either in python or bash to assist in setup, like automatically editing the config based on amount of displays available at time of install - or polling for a prior KDE setup and helping in migrating application themes over properly for niri.

Why niri?

idk, it's fun, i like it, and i don't mind the need for extra configuration

why noctalia?

it was the easiest shell to use when i started this, i've checked INIR out and i didn't like it too much - went back to noctalia shortly after.
